Missing the baked goods you grew up with, or that special treat you fell in love with during your travels to the US? You’re not alone. That’s exactly why I created Hook’d Bakery — a HACCP-certified home bakery where every batch is baked with love, using fresh ingredients and a touch of nostalgia.
Here, you’ll find the familiar aroma of real vanilla extract brought straight from the US, paired with the superior quality of Italian ingredients like Caputo flour and free-range eggs. The result? Flavors that taste like home, but even better.
About the Baker
Lindsey Hook was born and raised on both coasts of the US until she studied abroad in Florence and decided to stay in Italy…11 years ago! She moved to Rome and spent the last decade learning about Italian food and culture, working in the hospitality and food & beverage industries across Italy, taking cooking classes along the way, before starting a career in agriculture and international relations at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. After many years of being the resident baker and chef in her family and friend groups, she has now decided to pursue her dreams of having a home bakery, spreading warmth and chocolate through her recipes originating in the US, but adapted to Italian ingredients.

Delivery is available at an extra cost. Please note my kitchen is not free of allergens, therefore I cannot cater to allergies unless contamination isn’t an issue. If there is something you’d like that you don’t see on the menu, please reach out and we will work it out together! Free biweekly or weekly drop offs at FAO can be arranged upon request.
